Description: This informative class will guide the practicing attorney through the maze of ethics issues surrounding the termination of a representation prior to the conclusion of a matter. Our knowledgeable faculty will address situations where a lawyer must withdraw and where a lawyer may withdraw. They will cover the steps a lawyer should take in order to withdraw from a client matter, including issues relating to permission from courts or tribunals, notice to clients, deadlines, and confidentiality.
