The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act: Where We Are Now and What It Means *Class by Webinar*

Date(s):
January 10, 2018
Description:

Credit: 2.0 Credit Hours

On December 22, 2017, the President signed the bill formerly known as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act into law. It was a wild ride as the bill bounced back and forth between the House of Representatives and Senate, with substantial modifications each round and obscure procedural rules that enabled the Senate to pass the legislation with just 51 votes but which also stripped the legislation of its short, and catchy title. Now that the dust has settled, it is time to dig into the details to understand how the bill will affect you and your clients. There is much to know, and much yet to be revealed as Treasury and the IRS begin the challenging task of administering the new rules and interpreting their ambiguities. Our expert faculty will discuss the major changes in business, international, employment, and nonprofit tax law resulting from the legislation. This is one not to miss!
