Law Firm Passport (30 Classes)

Date(s):
Description:

The D.C. Bar Continuing Legal Education Program now offers several CLE Passports that offer substantial savings and flexibility when completing their mandatory continuing legal education credits in the 46 jurisdictions that have CLE requirements.

All passport purchasers can choose from our extensive catalog of live, in-person classes (held at the new D.C. Bar Headquarters), simultaneous webcasts of those in-person classes, or from our extensive on-demand library.  As a special incentive, passport purchasers will also have access to unlimited course materials.

Passports are good for one year from the date of purchase.  All credits and classes must be redeemed within one year from the date of purchase.

HOW IT WORKS

A law firm should designate one person, such as a Professional Development Coordinator, a Paralegal, or CLE Director, to serve as a liaison with the D.C. Bar CLE Program’s Registrar.  Firm attorneys will notify the Liaison of CLE classes they want to take.  The law firm Liaison would simply notify the Registrar by emailing the attorney’s name and class selection to cle@dcbar.org.  The Liaison may also call the CLE number at (202) 626-3488. CLE staff will register that firm attorney and he or she will receive an email confirmation with the appropriate class format instructions.  The Registrar will track how many classes were redeemed under the law firm passport.
