Description:Credits: 3.0 Credit Hours Description: This informative class provides an overview of representing an individual or company during a white collar criminal investigation. Our esteemed faculty will focus on the pretrial investigative stage, including grand jury investigations and negotiations with the government to avoid indictment. Those who attend will learn about special concerns that arise when representing a company or an individual under investigation, including attorney-client privilege and ethical issues. Finally, the faculty will offer guidance for representing clients who face parallel civil and criminal investigations. This class is intended for attorneys who are new to a white collar practice, and for in-house counsel who need to know the basics of such investigations.
