Description: This class examines federal law restrictions on politicking by government employees. Our faculty will cover Hatch Act restrictions applicable to Executive Branch and local government employees, as well as parallel rules applicable in the Legislative Branch. Topics include:
 
• Federal anti-corruption statutes
• The Hatch Act
• Congressional ethics rules for Capitol Hill staff
• Arenas for enforcement.
