Description: Learn the key statutes, regulations and fundamental concepts of immigration and nationality law involved in the U.S. immigration system. This course will cover an overview of applicable government agencies that administer immigration law, sources of law and practice, immigration terminology, and various immigration forms involved in the application process. Our faculty will address essential concepts such as non-immigrant versus immigrant visas, temporary visas, inadmissibility, removability, and what it means for a foreign national to be “out of status” or “unlawfully present” in the U.S.
