Description: Learn about probate practice and procedure in the District of Columbia, including the procedural law relating to standard and abbreviated probate, as well as supervised and unsupervised estate administration.  Those who attend this informative class will receive practical guidance on the procedures for the administering a small estate, the appointment of a special administrator, and the appointment of a foreign personal representative.  Those who attend will also learn about the D.C. Code sections applicable to the administration of decedents’ estates, relevant D.C. Superior Court rules, and recent court decisions on issues relating to estate administration.
