This session will focus on the basic will and estate plan for the client with an estate valued at less than the fed­eral applicable exclusion amount, currently 11.2 million. It will review assets that may be dis­posed of by will, as well as factors to consider when making bequests. Faculty also will discuss estate and inheritance tax at the state level, which often has a lower threshold than the federal estate tax.  Additionally, faculty will address issues on collecting informa­tion from the client and collateral estate planning, including powers of attorney for financial matters and health care. This is a pre-recorded replay of the 4/18/18 course.
