ON DEMAND: Employee Benefits Tax Series: The SECURE Act: The Impact of Retirement Modernization Legislation

Credit: 0 Credit Hours
Run Time: 56 Minutes
**This is a previously recorded program, originally recorded on February 13, 2020.
This session will address the changes that the Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement Act (SECURE) Act made to the retirement system.  The SECURE Act is the most significant piece of retirement legislation since the enactment of the Pension Protection Act of 2006.  During the session, expect to learn about three key areas of modernization – changes designed to increase the percent of employees covered by retirement plans, changes designed to facilitate the inclusion of new investment products in retirement plans, and changes to when retirement distributions are taxed.
