This presentation is intended to give practitioners an inside look into sections 671-679 of the Internal Revenue Code (more commonly known as the grantor trust rules).  The presentation will review each of the sections, treasury regulations, and related revenue rulings.  In addition, the presenters will provide examples of transactions which allow practitioners to leverage the grantor trust rules to plan effectively from an income and an estate planning perspective.
