Description: This highly acclaimed course features a distinguished appellate judge and expert appellate practitioners. Our esteemed faculty has designed this course as an introduction to appellate advocacy, featuring practical advice for those who attend.  The judge will discuss his perspectives, and point out practice pitfalls and common mistakes attorneys make. Our attorney panelists, in turn, will share some of their tactics for successful brief writing and oral argument. Our faculty will also discuss legal ethics issues relating to appellate advocacy, and alternate dispute resolution.
