ON DEMAND: Exempt Organizations Series: After the 2020 Election - Reporting and Other Considerations for Tax-Exempt Organizations

Credit: 0 Credit Hours
Run Time: 53 Minutes
**This is a previously recorded program, originally recorded on November 12, 2020.
Tax-exempt organizations are permitted to engage in the political process at varying degrees depending on their particular tax status. For those tax-exempt organizations that supported or opposed candidates for public office during the 2020 election, this timely webinar will guide participants through applicable reporting and other considerations on the other side of the election. Importantly, tax-exempt organizations' reports are frequently made available to the public and, depending on the organization's activities, may invite particular scrutiny. Our speakers counsel or work with tax-exempt organizations engaging in the political process and will share their expertise as you develop your understanding of the issues triggered by federal tax rules that are applicable to political campaign activities.
