Join Tax Court Judge Cary Douglas Pugh, Tax Court Chief Special Trial Judge Lewis Carluzzo, and IRS Chief Counsel Michael J. Desmond for a panel on alternative dispute resolution in the Tax Court moderated by Armando Gomez of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.  This panel will cover Tax Court Rule 124, including available procedures for voluntary binding arbitration, voluntary nonbinding mediation, and other methods of dispute resolution.  The panel will discuss the mechanics of these ADR processes, when such procedures may be used, and the benefits of ADR for the resolution of tax controversies.
