Description: Join us for this new and informative class.  Our panel of experienced lawyers and cybersecurity experts will: (1) Provide encryption primer for level-setting purposes, including using news headlines or public statements to debunk misconceptions; (2) Cover the back-door encryption vs. privacy debate, including touching upon how these issues arise in a criminal defense context; (3) Discuss encryption's relevance to other areas: ethics, export controls, data privacy; and (4) Provide those who attend with tips for personal use/application of encryption in law firms.
