Description: Join our distinguished faculty for this informative two-session program that explores, in detail, the latest statutory, regulatory, and judicial developments impacting tax exempt organizations.

During the IRS, Exempt Organizations Update and Discussion session, our expert faculty will discuss details and trends regarding tax law enforcement, audits, rulings, and agreements of exempt organizations by the IRS.  This will include updates related to tax reform, changes and procedures related to tax enforcement and administration, and specific issues related to tax forms and instructions.  In addition, the panel will provide information regarding the progress of implementation of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act as it related to forms, instructions, and guidance.  They will focus the discussion on the enforcement of tax law as it relates to tax exempt organizations.

During the IRS and Treasury Regulatory Update session, our knowledgeable panel will provide detailed technical tax law and practice updates from the Department of Treasury’s Office of Tax Policy and the IRS Employee Benefits, Exempt Organizations, and Employment Taxes Associate Chief Counsel’s Office.  They will provide tax updates that relate to exempt organizations, charitable contributions, and planning.  The panel will also discuss updates on current regulatory and guidance projects as outlined in the 2018-2019 IRS and Treasury Priority Guidance Plan.
