This panel will explore the current U.S. regulatory and criminal enforcement environment affecting both U.S. and non-U.S. cryptocurrency companies and issues relating to cross-border investigations in the cryptocurrency space. The panel will feature a current U.S. Department of Justice attorney focused on cryptocurrency investigations, several industry representatives to provide the cryptocurrency industry’s perspective on these issues, and Jason Weinstein as moderator, who currently heads both Steptoe's White Collar and Securities and Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Practice Groups, and is a Director of the Blockchain Alliance (a public-private forum established by a broad coalition of companies and organizations to help combat criminal activity involving digital currencies and blockchain technology).
